About the Role

Silver Pearls is seeking compassionate, dependable, and friendly companions to provide non-medical support to seniors in their homes.

This position focuses on companionship, household assistance, and helping clients maintain their independence while enjoying meaningful social interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly companionship and conversation.
• Prepare light meals and snacks.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with organizing and decluttering.
• Accompany clients on walks or recreational activities.
• Provide transportation to appointments or errands when assigned.
• Perform grocery shopping and other errands.
• Encourage social engagement and independence.
• Report concerns or changes in a client's condition to Silver Pearls.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for every client.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Have current automobile insurance.
• Own a smartphone and be able to communicate by text and email.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
